Step 4: Next, hold your breath for as long as (or, ideally, twice as long as) your inhalation time.

Step 5: Finally, slowly exhale out of your mouth by squeezing your chest inward, and your abdomen outward (not inward). Again, this is the opposite of Abdominal Breathing. (Fig. 9) Again, the timing of the exhalation should be at least twice as long as the inhalation.

Step 6: Repeat the entire cycle between Steps 3 through 5 for at least 10 minutes..
